The Mumbai Police on Monday claim that actor Shiney Ahuja's DNA test report had confirmed that he raped his 20-year-old maid.
According to the police, the DNA report supports the FIR filed in the case and the samples taken from the crime scene matched with Shiney’s.
Shiney was under arrest after being accused by his domestic help of raping and threatening her. She told the police the actor beaten her when they were alone at his home.
Shiney's wife Anupam Ahuja has, however, said her husband was being framed.
Meanwhile, the actor's bail appeal will come up for hearing on July 3.
